Inspired by how extension sockets bring electrical devices together, the One Piece Organizer unites everything used on the desk, creating beauty through simple order. 
 

 

“在找到最佳的布局前，我們嘗試了許多不同的凹槽形狀。除了滿足豐富的功能之外，如何去掉不必要的，保留最核心的部分是一個(gè)艱難的過(guò)程。最終我們確定了三個(gè)為不同需求設(shè)計(jì)的款式。”
 

We designed many different variations of slot shapes before we found the best arrangement. While it was exciting to come up with new features, it was, in equal measure, as difficult a process getting rid of the unnecessary elements and keeping only what was essential. We ended up with three versions, which are each suited for different needs.
 

Classic 經(jīng)典款：適合普通辦公人士?？梢苑胖酶黝惓叽绲墓P、直尺、卡片、小工具等等；Architect 建筑師款：適合建筑設(shè)計(jì)行業(yè)人士?？梢苑胖么蟪叽绲墓P、繪圖工具、計(jì)算器等等；Geek 極客款：適合數(shù)碼設(shè)備愛好者?？梢苑攀謾C(jī)、平板電腦、儲(chǔ)存設(shè)備和電池等等。
 

 

‘The Classic’ is designed for everyday office work, with space for different-sized pens, a ruler, cards, notes, scissors, paperclips, and more. ‘The Architect’ is for creative souls, with room for bulky marker pens, drawing materials and calculator. Last but not least, ‘the Geek’ is for those who can’t go without their electronic gadgets; it can hold, among other things, a phone, a tablet and batteries. 

 

 

 

整個(gè)產(chǎn)品設(shè)計(jì)過(guò)程持續(xù)了一年多，設(shè)計(jì)師團(tuán)隊(duì)嘗試了許多不同的凹槽形狀，最終找到了最理想的布局。設(shè)計(jì)有功能對(duì)凹槽是一個(gè)很有趣的過(guò)程；但是去掉多余、保留核心功能也是個(gè)痛苦的取舍過(guò)程。
 

 

產(chǎn)品的生產(chǎn)依賴于數(shù)控車床，所以必須考慮到產(chǎn)品選材的受限之處。最早設(shè)計(jì)師們選擇了大理石，但是在打樣的過(guò)程中發(fā)現(xiàn)并不可行，成本太高且效果不盡人意。從技術(shù)上來(lái)說(shuō)，也無(wú)法拋光其中的凹槽。后來(lái)通過(guò)對(duì)比了塑料和木頭，最終選擇了櫸木，因?yàn)樗亓窟m中、觸感溫和，也是更加環(huán)保的材質(zhì)。表面上色也是一個(gè)邊做邊學(xué)的過(guò)程。木材吸收油漆不均勻，所以第一個(gè)模型在上色后表面并不平整，這意味著需要額外噴一層底漆，再進(jìn)行打磨。為了樸素的審美和防臟，我們決定采用啞光噴漆。

One Piece Organizer在2016年斯德哥爾摩家具展上展出的原型獲得了不少好評(píng)，其實(shí)但在這之前設(shè)計(jì)師們還在柏林的工廠里痛苦打樣。事先詢問(wèn)過(guò)好幾家工廠，都因?yàn)檫_(dá)不到生產(chǎn)的要求而放棄。最后幸運(yùn)地找到一家擁有頂級(jí)工業(yè)水準(zhǔn)數(shù)控車床的工廠，拿到手的成品還是讓大家感到非常驚喜和滿意。
